Within a Dark Forest universe, there are generally four different space-types which are generated, each with unique biomes of celestial bodies. The regions will affect the both the base-stats of the generated celestial bodies, as well as determine the artifacts you will find (for stat-based artifacts, all types of artifacts can be found from any foundry).
