Range is a celestial body stat that determines the maximum distance a move from a body can reach. This stat is displayed next to a Pickaxe icon in the information pane.

Like most stats in the game, the Range of celestial bodies improves across higher tier space types and higher level bodies. After level 3, each successive celestial body level increase gives a slightly diminished improvement.
The base Range for each level (though, this may be different depending upon the round configuration).
In some rounds (namely, DFDAO’s Arena), the Range multiplier may be set to different values.
For more advanced players, you may wish to take a look at the exact values of a round by using the following in the console:

Note: there is no difference across celestial body types.
In the game, there is currently four space types. Each successive tier of space will have celestial bodies which spawn with a higher multiplier of their base Range.
